AI is an exciting topic and represents the technology of the future. For LILLA the question is not whether we should embrace it but rather how we should. We know that some of our corporate members are already implementing AI tools to support the drafting of legal agreements and research work. This will revolutionize future legal work.

We are happy to invite you to a round table together with WIDE &CO and the University of Luxembourg (Competence Center) to reflect on the topic of ethics and AI.

Camille Saettel head of  the Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) and Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) practices at law firm and LILLA corporate member Simmons & Simmons and other guests will be discussing the various contributions of AI in the legal and other sectors, as well as the challenges that come with it.

The event is part of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), Elements of AI, a series of free online courses originally created by MinnaLearn and the University of Helsinki and offered by the University of Luxembourg (Competence Center). Each MOOC promotion in Luxembourg has more than 1,000 participants (students and professionals), who meet every week online to follow the webinars.

The panel discussion will be followed by a networking event where the MOOC community (students and professionals) and the LILLA and WIDE &CO communities will be able to exchange their thoughts on this captivating topic.
